This hand loomed Abaya is an absolute stunner. Made of wool with traditional patterns hand loomed throughout the Abaya and the hand made tassels and pockets hand stitched throughout the Abaya, it is a bohemian lover's dream and an absolute head turner for Abaya / Kimono lovers. No amount of pictures can show the amount of detail and the beauty of the hand stitched tassels and coins. Just be sure that you will make noise not just by it's looks but also by the sounds of the coins and tassels.

It is handwoven by Ali, a 70 year old great grandfather who has been weaving since he was 10. Ali is an artist, in the way he never makes two Abayas with the same color patterns even if he uses the same pallets, he believes that every Abaya is unique drawing and thus no two are alike.

This Abaya is not very heavy so is great for those more chilly summer nights or a throw over anything you're wearing underneath to look like a true gypsy. You can wear it over jeans and a shirt or in the comfort of your home.
